Hanging
It is not advisable to hang a painting above a heat source such as a radiator or fire. The heat can cause the wooden frame to warp and dry the paint and plaster out causing cracks in the process.
Direct sunlight can also warp a canvas and it will fade the pigments over time. It is better to illuminate with indirect light or with dedicated interior lights.
Cleaning
Do not use cloths, dusters and feather dusters to clean the surface as these can leave lint or fibres on the surface. We advise using a sable brush to gently dislodge any surface dust and a vacuum cleaner to catch it.
