SILVER & SLIVER-PLATED ALLOY

Silver surfaces tend to tarnish if they are exposed to contact with air. This phenomenon is not a defect and does not damage the silver. Rather, it is a natural characteristic of this precious metal that only changes the surface colour, first making it first turn yellowish, then brown or black. Objects that are used daily do not turn black because handling or washing prevents these sulphurous products from depositing.
Tarnish can easily be removed with good silver cleaning products.
We recommend liquid or, even better, spray formulations.
