Orrefors Of Sweden I Discus Clear
The popular Discus tealight holder is now available in steel, gold and frosted colours. Designed expressly to herald the World Athletics Championships in 1995, inspired by its namesake, the discus is polished above and patterned beneath, the finish sparkling in the candle glow like an Olympic flame.
Designer- Lars Hellsten
Lars Hellsten (b. 1933) studied sculpture at the Collage of Arts, Crafts and design i Stockholm before coming to Orrefors in 1972. He is also the designer behind such collections as CORONA and ODYSSEY and the heart-shaped AMOUR and MY HEART. Nature clearly inspire his art glass, too, including many grand pieces well suited for public places. His glass is characteristically massive and forceful, whether it be cast, mould-blown or free-blown.

- Tobias Oliver Interiors earthenware is dishwasher safe using a gentle energy efficient air-dry cycle or may be handwashed and dried with a soft cloth. Do not overload dishwasher. Handwash oversize pieces and pieces composed of both Earthenware and Metal. Avoid abrasive soaps and detergents containing citrus scents or additives.
- After use, rinse in hot water to avoid prolonged contact with acidic substances which can stain finish.
- When storing, stack carefully to avoid scratches in the finish.
- Pieces with metallic accents are not suitable for the microwave.
