When designing interiors and furniture we endeavour to avoid ‘trends’ as these can quickly expire, thus innovation for us is something less obvious - it’s a twist or a subtle detail, or a collection of details which slowly imbue. The antique bronze and brushed brass leaf wall-light fitting was sourced in Paris, we wanted to simulate a gust of leafs across the wall – this together with the ‘bark’ like antique bronze handles to all the furniture helped to bring that feeling of nature into the room in a subtle way. The antique bronzed handles were forged at our foundry in France. The crystal ‘Laurel’ ceiling chandelier was shipped from Los Angeles and certainly adds to the glamour factor! We introduced some elegance by way of a beautifully shaped dressing table chair, made in London by an upcoming furniture designer. A delicately applied intricate beading detail and diamanté’s are added to a smart splayed pleat arrangement at the base of the chair – this resulted in a beautiful and interesting feature the client loved. We used a mixture of fabrics and trims across all pieces of furniture and table lamps to create a unique design them that continues through every element of the room.
