Our History

Founded in 2016, Tobias Oliver has its roots as an interior design agency, quickly establishing a reputation for excellence and innovation. By 2019, the company expanded its horizons into the retail sector, launching a showroom in the UK and simultaneously developing an e-commerce platform to enhance the online customer experience. Over the years, the company has diversified its operations and now possess bases in both Portugal and the UK, growing into an internationally recognised, multi-award-winning interior design firm.

The driving force behind the company, Tobias Trigg, is a qualified interior designer registered with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID). He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Interior Design from Regent’s University London (2006-2010), where he was distinguished with the Dean’s Award for Arts. Throughout his academic journey, Tobias gained valuable insights and experience through internships with leading interior designers. Furthermore, his Bachelor of Fine Arts (American Degree) in Interior Design qualifies him to work across international borders, adhering to global standards and accreditations.

After accumulating 12 years of experience in high-end residential interior design, Tobias launched his own studio, Tobias Oliver, in 2016. His inherent passion for design, meticulous attention to detail, commitment to team development and dedication to exceptional customer service have been pivotal to the studio’s success. Tobias Oliver prides itself on being fully accredited and registered with both the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and the Society of British Interior Design (SBID), underscoring its commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in the field.
