Botticelli is a wide sheer in linen and silk, woven 310 cm wide so it hangs full height without a seam. Matt and lustrous yarns are set against each other to break the surface into a fine crazed pattern, taken from the craquelure of old paintings, and the effect changes as you move past it or as the light shifts round the room. It is unusually substantial for a sheer at 650 g per metre, which means it falls in generous folds and holds them rather than lifting in a draught. Use it where a window needs softening without losing the view, and light it from the side if you want the texture to show. Two colourways: Pearl, a cool white, and Shell, a warmer one.
