Modern American Glamour
Jonathan Adler’s designs strive to create luxe and livable interiors that are seriously designed, but don’t take themselves too seriously. We completely agree, the furniture, lighting and accessories that we adore are aligned with our view of beautiful craftsmanship and elegant design, but also adds a hint of quirk and fun! What’s not to love…?

Potter, designer and author Jonathan Adler launched his namesake brand after leaving his day job to pursue his first love: pottery. In 1993, Barneys bought his collection of pots, and five years later, he opened his first store in Soho.
Jonathan’s desire to design all the bits one needs to create a flawlessly chic home led to more and more.
Since introducing Jonathan’s accessories to the showroom last year, we’ve been so inundated with orders and amazing feedback that we are branching out into lighting and furniture too!
Our Favourite Pieces!
Whether it’s a sumptuous sofa, brilliant bar unit or dazzling daybeds, there’s a Jonathan Adler piece of furniture to suit any space.
Here’s our pick of the bunch as we slide into Summer ’21.
Heaven Sent – The Ether Sofa
Low, loungey, and incredibly comfortable, the Ether Sofa has a simple genesis story: JA wanted to create a sofa that looks and feels like heaven.
The lozenge-like silhouette is enveloping and inviting, while gleaming brass stiletto legs add lift and polish fit for a formal parlor. Ethereal yet edgy, it’s elegant enough for a chic sitting room, but cozy enough to be your favorite spot to binge-watch those box-sets.
Striated icy velvet glows with dreamy hints of silver and blue, or float on a fresh finish with cloud-hued woven upholstery.
POP Art – The Op Art Bar
We are head over heels in martini heaven for this ultra chic and cool home bar unit! The modernist and mind-bending cabinet features glass panes reverse-painted in charcoal and ivory with polished brass details. The grooved, split-circle door pulls add a glam spin.
Fitted with adjustable tempered glass shelves, plus six wire-bound drinking glass shelves inside the doors and two drawers at the base keep your mixing accoutrements at hand.
Coming to our Berkhamsted showroom very soon!
Organic Modernism – The Reform Credenza
This exceptional piece is inspired by the Brutalist architecture of modernist temples and churches from Le Corbusier’s Ronchamp to Miami’s Temple Israel. The signature pattern originated as a relief texture sculpted in Adler’s Soho pottery studio.
The design is carved onto wooden doors, and then clad in a single sheet of brass, which is hand-hammered and polished to perfection, taking 8 to 12 hours, per door.
The oak cabinet has been ebonized and limed, then perched on solid brass legs. Divine details – a slight bevel on the solid oak casing, a nifty float between the oak and the brass cabinet, and fab touch-latch closing mechanisms take the Reform Credenza to soaring heights of couture craftsmanship.
Luminous Lighting
