Adam Ellis Artwork
The Adam Ellis Studio is a London based fine art and design practice, experienced in creating unique and vibrant spaces for both hospitality and private clients in the UK and overseas. Fearless with colour, space and subject matter, it is with an artist’s approach and no rule boom that Adam tackles each project. Referring to his vast archive of prints, Adam takes inspiration from the smallest detail and then develops layer upon layer to create immersive prints and wallpapers, full of elaborate detail and rich in colour and texture.

Adam Ellis’ work can be seen in notable hotels, restaurants and office spaces, including The Ivy Collection of brasseries, Sexy Fish, Brown’s Hotel, and the private members club Annabel’s, to name just a few!
Our Inspiration
The Tobias Oliver Interiors team first saw this magnificent piece of art at the 2023 Focus event hosted annually at the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre. The ‘Kaleidoscope’ hanging artwork was on display in the Julian Chichester showroom… and it was love at first sight!
The TOI team immediately knew what a great addition this would be to our showroom in Berkhamsted. This unique and playful piece of artwork would be an amazing source of inspiration for our clients, so we just had to have our own. But first… a trip to the Adam Ellis studio….
Our Visit to the Adam Ellis Showroom
The TOI design team took a morning out of the office to visit the Adam Ellis studio, and it was like nothing we had imagined! As soon as we stepped foot through the door, we were wowed. The variety of colours and designs was breathtaking; we felt so lucky to be able to witness where all the magic happens.
What we love most about Adam Ellis and the ‘Kaleidoscope’ piece is how customisable it is. We visited the studio to hand select the nine individual pieces of art that are connected to each other via chains, to create one large magnificent piece of art.

We were also very excited when we spotted the new Sexy Fish menus being designed! The attention to detail in every piece of Adam Ellis artwork is like nothing we’d ever seen before. Truly an unforgettable experience to be able to visit this space of imagination and vibrancy!
Take a visit to the Tobias Oliver Interiors showroom to take a look at the newly installed ‘Kaleidoscope’ artwork, we’re sure you’ll be just as inspired as we were!
